Jacob Mosser (MA) has been obsessed with photography for the past 45 years and has earned top honors from the Photographic Society of America (PSA), NECCC and the Greater Lynn Photographic Association (GLPA) for both his skills with the camera and his efforts on behalf of the photographic community. As a leading figure in the PSA, he has been the recipient of the PSA “Stuyvesant Peabody Award” for his significant contributions to pictorial photography.
For many years of outstanding service and contributions to NECCC he, along with his wife Susan, has had the NECCC Conference dedicated to him. Jake is also a member and past Chair of the Massachusetts Camera Naturalists (CamNats), past Chair of PSA’s Nature Division and PSA’s Ethics Review Committee, and past President and Honorary Life Vice-President of both GLPA and NECCC.
A multi Galaxy and Diamond Star competitor in International Exhibitions, he has judged and lectured throughout the USA and Canada. His work has been published in various magazines and calendars including the PSA Journal and the Nature Photographer magazine.
Jacob is dedicated to the advancement of amateur photography both in New England and nationally through his work in PSA, NECCC, the GLPA, and the CamNats. He is a much sought after judge and lecturer and has presented multiple programs, portfolio reviews, and workshops at Camera Clubs, the NECCC Conference and PSA Conferences. He is admired and appreciated for his generous commitment of time and expertise and is always available when called upon to lend a hand.
