Antoinette Gombeda, APSA, HonNEC (CT) is a member of the Greater Bridgeport Camera Club, Connecticut Association of Photographers, and a member of the NECCC Board of Directors currently serving as President. She has held administrative roles in each of these organizations. She is also a member of the Photographic Society of America (PSA). In recognition of her administrative roles and teaching within photographic circles she was honored to receive the Honorary Life Vice President of NECCC title in 2010 and in 2012 she received an Associate title from PSA. As a member of the NECCC Board, Antoinette also serves as Scholarship Chairman, Chairman of Pre-Conference Activities and has chaired or co-chaired the annual conference eleven times.
One of her favorite tasks is welcoming “First Time Attendees” to the conference! On the first day of each conference, she is available for Conference Planning Assistance to help First Time Attendees, or anyone else needing assistance. She helps get people oriented to the campus, answers their questions and helps them create a schedule so that they can do as much as possible. Whether this is your first conference or you are a returning attendee with questions, you can “Get Help Planning Your Weekend” from Antoinette on Friday in the UPub (Campus Center Main Concourse) from 10am-4pm.
Photography has given Antoinette many things, most important of which is meeting wonderful people and forming life-long friendships.
